EWG has three new voting members on its board of directors. We welcome Monroe County Chair George Green, Franklin County Sheriff Steven M. Pelton and O’Fallon, IL Mayor Herb Roach, who is also the vice president of the Southwestern Illinois Council of Mayors. EWG has a 29-member board that includes an eight-member executive advisory committee consisting of the mayor of St. Louis, and seven county executives from Franklin, Jefferson, St. Charles and St. Louis counties in Missouri, and Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair counties in Illinois. In January, St. Louis Mayor Tishuara Jones was selected by the board to be its chair. Madison County Board Chairman Kurt Prenzler is the vice chair, and Franklin County Presiding Commissioner Tim Brinker is the second vice chair.
