Missouri Dept. of Health and Senior Services (DHSS)
- DHSS oversees the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) which supports regional collaboration and health care preparedness and response by encouraging the development and sustainment of health care coalitions (HCC). DHSS contracts with Missouri Hospital Association, STARRS, and other emergency health agencies to implement and sustain the program.
Nonurban Missouri Healthcare Coalition (MHA)
- Health care coalitions are promoted as a method to prepare for and respond to incidents among health care organizations within a geographic region. STARRS is the designated MHA for the St. Louis region.
Mid-America Regional Council (MARC)
- MARC created the Community Disaster Resiliency Network to connect community service providers so they can work together before, during and after disasters.
