Our Missouri Waters

From 2015-2017, East-West Gateway coordinated with Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the Our Missouri Waters (OMW) initiative to highlight the importance of the Meramec River watershed and the Lower Missouri watershed to the St. Louis region.

• Planning for a Healthy Watershed: Meramec River Watershed — This 2016 brochure explains the OMW approach in the Meramec Watershed, including the process undertaken to understand issues and to establish a watershed advisory committee and other forums for working together to address the health of the watershed.
• Our Missouri Rivers: Meramec River Watershed — A June 2015 booklet brochure that provides background information on the watershed.
• Our Missouri Rivers: Lower Missouri River Watershed — A July 2015 booklet brochure that provides background information on the watershed.
• Meramec River Watershed: Water Quality Impairment — October 2015 background information on the Meramec tributaries that are listed as not meeting state water quality standards.
