Manufacturing Establishments by ZIP Code, February 2019

East-West Gateway’s February 2019 Map of the Month shows the number of manufacturing establishments in each of the region’s ZIP Codes. In December, 2018, the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimated there were 119,500 manufacturing jobs in the St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area. This represents an increase of more than 5,000 jobs since 2012. Manufacturing establishments are spread throughout the region. High clusters of small manufacturing establishments may be seen in Fenton and northern Jefferson County, as well as in the Central West End of the city of St. Louis.
