2012 document, prepared by Inter Agency Consultation Group (IACG), describes the characteristics used to determine whether a transportation project is “Regionally Significant” with respect to the air quality conformity requirements for Transportation Plan and Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) found in the federal Transportation Conformity regulations. Regionally significant projects have to be included in the regional emissions analysis portion of the Conformity Determination.
