East-West Gateway Council of Governments’ (EWG) environmental planning efforts are primarily centered on initiatives relating to the St. Louis region’s air and water quality. Protecting these resources and limiting the impact from transportation and other development is critical to ensuring the St. Louis region is a vibrant, healthy, and prosperous place.
