Air Quality Advisory Committee
East-West Gateway Council of Governments (EWG) established the Air Quality Advisory Committee (AQAC) in 1992. AQAC has an advisory role to the EWG Board of Directors and serves as a public forum for the dissemination of information and receipt of feedback about air quality issues in the St. Louis region. AQAC is also responsible for the coordination of air quality and transportation planning activities in the region.

Inter-Agency Consultation Group
The Inter-Agency Consultation Group (IACG) is a peer group consisting of representatives from EWG and federal, state, and local air and transportation agencies. The IACG oversees the conformity determination process and reaches consensus on planning assumptions, analysis years, tests to be performed and motor vehicle emissions budgets.

St. Louis Regional Clean Air Partnership
Launched in 1995, the mission of the St. Louis Regional Clean Air Partnership is to increase awareness of regional air quality issues and to encourage activities to reduce air pollution emissions. Operating as a public-private partnership, the Clean Air Partnership is comprised of more than 1,000 area businesses, organizations, schools, hospitals and government agencies who work to help the organization fulfill its mission.
St. Louis Regional Clean Cities Program
The St. Louis Regional Clean Cities Program is one of nearly 100 coalitions that are part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities initiative working to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, develop regional economic opportunities, and improve air quality.
